Alcorcón's San Silvestre is run in mid-December (XIV edition on 14 December 2025), not on New Year's Eve, from the Recinto Ferial on a 5 km urban loop through Los Cantos, La Luna, Plaza del Sol and Calle Mayor; the 10K is two laps and counts for San Silvestre Vallecana accreditation. Over 1,300 runners including 310 children in 2025, sold out a week early; organised by Club Atletismo Alcorcón with the council and judged by the Madrid federation.
