One of the oldest popular races in the Madrid region, the Carrera Popular Quijote y Dulcinea reached its XLVIII edition on 15 March 2026, run at 12:15 from the Plaza de Cervantes after the half marathon and children's races. A 5.5 km loop through the historic centre with a symbolic 2 EUR entry donated to a local charity.
